About the Practitioner

Sabine is passionate about supporting adults dealing with cancer through her experience with mindfulness, breathing, meditation, visualisation and physical movement. She has worked as a volunteer at the Cancer Care centre for 2 years teaching mindfulness, breathwork and meditation weekly. She has taught yoga for stress management to students at both Adelaide and Flinders University. She is a fully trained and internationally accredited Kundalini Yoga teacher, and member of International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA). Her own personal research as a scientist was inspired by her passion to find a cure for cancer. This scientific knowledge allows her to deeply understand medical aspects of cancer, the physiology, biochemistry, immunology and anatomy related to oncology and how to move towards overall wellbeing ~ this compliments her yogic knowledge in a unique and supportive way. Sabine’s gift is to relate the physiology and biochemistry of respiration, for example, to the yogic style of breathing, awareness and relaxation, empowering you from all angles to support improved physical and mental wellbeing through easy practises.

The Approach

“Kundalini Yoga is an ancient and synergistic form or yoga practiced for centuries in India and the East. It incorporates the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga into a cohesive and integrated system.“   Sabine offers *Breathwork for deep relaxation and inner connection *Physical postures tailored to your specific needs for alignment and energy flow *Meditation to assist with stress, depression, to uplift and create deep wellbeing personalized to your unique style that suits you! *Visualisations for peace of mind and inspiration to be in presence and deal with uncertainty. *Deep relaxation guided through the body awareness.
