Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy differs from yoga in that it is tailored to an individual to achieve specific therapeutic outcomes. These outcomes may be physical, mental, emotional or spiritually-based. Yoga as therapy is not new - the therapeutic value of yoga is well known and supported by research. As a matter of fact yoga is classed as having "strong" evidence in the research literature for a variety of conditions, including for cancer support. Yoga has been demonstrated to decrease pain, anxiety, sleeplessness, nausea and many other issues associated with cancer and its treatment. It has also been demonstrated to increase the immune response, general quality of life and happiness!
